Excellent, excellent location. In the hub, on the canals & easy accessible to restaurants, markets, shops & tours pick up points. Reception team very friendly & extremely helpful. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant, with helpful guide to select right wine.

We stayed at the Modernist Hotel since there were ongoing renovations at Hotel Continentale. Location is central (just round the corner of Hotel Continentale) and the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also very good.

This is a classic hotel in the heart of Trieste. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet and well equipped. Everything in the centre of town is within easy walking distance. Valet service to park the car after drop off of luggage (€ 25/day).

An elegant hotel in the heart of the city that assigned me the perfect room! It was spacious with 2 balconies offering two different yet exceptional views. The staff were super kind. Not only did they allow me to store my luggage one day after I left, they let me use the lobby lounge to do a few hours of work. The staff also recommended two outstanding restaurants. Basically, they made my life easy and enjoyable. I won’t hesitate to return.

Everything was wonderful. The clean and quiet room, the extremely clean and cozy restaurant, the varied and delicious food, the wonderful wines and tonics, the solicitude of the receptionists who were ready to help, the valet parking which is very-very useful in this city, because the hotel is pet friendly.
